We are currently looking for a Mechanical Cost Estimator - Analyst 2 to engage in airport and various construction projects.


Position Title: Mechanical Cost Analyst 2

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and estimate materials and labor for mechanical systems, value engineering, and life-cycle cost evaluations.
  • Accurately compile the projected costs of mechanical project components based on provided project details.
  • Manage a varied workload while coordinating the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical elements of projects with other disciplines.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs by working with detailed design documents and planning-level or ROM-level specifications.
  • Create clear and precise cost estimates customized to client requirements, including price research and unit price development.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary, including attending conferences, visiting client sites, or collaborating with other company offices.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4+ years of experience in mechanical estimating is essential. Experience in aviation is preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field, or equivalent expertise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Success, MII, or MCACES) is required.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications is necessary.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is advantageous but not mandatory.

Connico provides a comprehensive compensation package, with a salary starting at $80k, bonus potential, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.

This position is full-time hybrid (in-office on T, W, TH) or may be fully remote for the right candidate.
