We are currently looking for a Mechanical Cost Estimator - Analyst 2 to engage in airport and various construction projects.


Position Title: Mechanical Cost Analyst 2

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and estimate materials and labor for mechanical systems, including value engineering and life-cycle cost assessments.
  • Accurately compile the projected costs of mechanical components based on project information.
  • Manage a varied workload while coordinating the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical elements of projects with other disciplines.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs by working with detailed design and planning-level or ROM-level documents.
  • Create clear and concise cost estimates tailored to client specifications, including price research and unit price development.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary for conferences, client meetings, project site visits, or other company engagements.

Required Qualifications:
  • 2-4+ years of experience in mechanical estimating is essential, with a preference for aviation experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant estimating software (On-Screen Takeoff, Timberline, Success, MII, or MCACES) is required.
  • Ability to interpret architectural, civil, and engineering drawings and specifications is necessary.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Connico provides a comprehensive compensation package, with a salary starting at $80k, bonus potential, and opportunities for continuous professional development. Compensation will be aligned with experience and qualifications.

This position offers a full-time hybrid work model (in-office on T, W, TH) or a full-time remote option for suitable candidates.
