The Clinic-Based Supervising Clinician plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical care to clients. Reporting to the Sr. Regional Director of Clinic-Based Director, this position is responsible for supervising clinicians and interns, providing clinical coverage, and maintaining a trauma-responsive, culturally congruent stance on clinical care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight of clinical work for assigned clinicians, monitoring and evaluating clinical and administrative performance to ensure the quality of clinical care.
- Offer clinical supervision and coaching to clinical staff on a weekly basis, promoting their growth and development.
- Support the implementation of clinically appropriate treatment plans and documentation in the electronic health record, ensuring compliance with OMH regulations and standards of care.
- Deliver psychotherapy to clients and their families using individual, group, and family intervention, as well as other agency-approved evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Promote integrated, person-centered care, fostering a collaborative environment among clinical staff.
- Contribute to the evaluation of program services to enhance client outcomes, acting as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives that increase quality client care.
- Serve as the on-call Supervising Clinician on a rotating basis, providing 24/7 coverage and support.
- Maintain knowledge of OMH regulations and standards of care, serving as a resource to clinical staff and promoting best practices.
- Support the overall strategic plan of the organization, aligning clinical initiatives with organizational goals.
- Licensed (LCSW, LCSW-R, Ph.D, or Psy.D) with a current professional license in NYS.
- At least four years of clinical experience, including three years of supervisory and administrative experience.
- Relevant clinical experience with children, adolescents, and families.
- Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities and evidence-based interventions.
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet session productivity standards.
- Supports overall strategic plan of the organization.
