Senior Manager, International Tax Expert

This role will be responsible for facilitating international tax compliance across our four portfolios, driving the tax strategy for all of our portfolios to optimize our cash tax profile domestically and internationally, owning the domestic tax operations across all of our portfolios, and supporting M&A and divestiture transactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate international tax compliance across our four portfolios, including coordinating international tax return preparation and compliance, establishing transfer pricing strategies, and leading the strategy for international tax compliance as our business expands into new tax jurisdictions.
- Drive the tax strategy for all of our portfolios to optimize our cash tax profile domestically and internationally, including owning the overall strategy and financial model for repatriating cash from our entities in Australia, the U.K., and Canada, designing the overall strategy for our legal entity structure, and maintaining the financial model to track member tax distributions.
- Own the domestic tax operations across all of our portfolios, including facilitating and reviewing the tax provision and domestic tax returns prepared by external tax consultants, and booking all tax-related journal entries.
- Support M&A and divestiture transactions, including evaluating tax credits for implementation across the portfolio and staying up-to-date on new tax legislation to guide ASG's long-term tax strategy.
- 6+ years of experience in tax accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in a Tax Manager role.
- Experience in a private equity-backed environment is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Deep understanding of U.S. and international tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to distill complex tax implications into simple narratives for a wide variety of audiences.
- Experience with cap table management and equity distribution.

- Proficient in Excel and able to navigate and update forecast models.
- Relentless attention to detail.

- Self-directed and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).
The target salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, L&D stipend, and incentive pay for eligible roles.
