Position Summary

This position allows you to demonstrate your leadership abilities by overseeing engineering assignments, managing both consultants and internal staff. Your responsibilities will blend technical knowledge with strong interpersonal skills, as you prepare detailed plans, specifications, and budget estimates while promoting effective teamwork and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive plans, reports, and budget forecasts for various projects.
- Provide technical guidance for development initiatives.
- Represent engineering projects in meetings and public discussions.
- Ensure safety protocols are prioritized and report any issues in accordance with established procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Proven ability to interpret technical documentation and utilize project management software effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe products, and project management applications.
- Experience in conflict resolution and managing projects efficiently.
- Knowledge of Federal Transit Administration standards is advantageous.
- A Master's degree along with extensive experience in transportation projects is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline with at least five years of relevant experience is mandatory.
