As a Parts Coordinator I at Ryder System, you will play a vital role in the success of our operations. This position involves overseeing parts ordering, receiving, cataloging, inventory, and reconciliation of all parts at a single location. You will also be responsible for processing Purchase Orders (POs) and Vendor payment requests, ensuring that the right part is purchased from the right vendor and maintaining inventory levels to maximize customer uptime.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Conducting physical inventory, parts ordering, and receiving
  • Processing of Purchase Orders and Supplier invoices
  • Ensuring Parts Received and properly recorded into inventory
  • Overseeing parts obsolescence
  • Shipping warranty and parts return to vendors
  • Responsible for parts room organization and cleanliness

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Acute attention to detail/Data entry accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel intermediate preferred
