We are looking for a skilled Tax and Trusts Associate to provide expert guidance to our esteemed clientele on various tax strategies, estate planning, and trust management issues. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic advice on estate planning methods, including wills, trusts, and charitable contributions.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing estate planning documentation.
  • Advise clients on asset protection and wealth preservation techniques.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research on intricate tax matters.
  • Prepare and submit estate and gift tax filings.
  • Oversee trust management, including funding and distributions.
  • Support estate administration processes, including probate.
  • Advise on tax-efficient approaches for business dealings and investments.
  • Collaborate with other legal areas, such as corporate and real estate law, on interconnected issues.
  • Maintain robust client relationships and ensure outstanding service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Experience at a prestigious law firm or a firm with a significant number of employees is preferred.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law institution.
  • Bar admission in relevant states is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax, trusts, and estates law; LL.M in Taxation or Estate Planning is advantageous.
  • In-depth understanding of federal and state tax regulations, estate planning methodologies, and trust management.
  • Exceptional drafting abilities with experience in complex estate planning documents.
  • Proficient in managing multiple priorities and projects efficiently.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards and client confidentiality.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting.
