Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology OR Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding and overseeing a team of Advanced Practice Professionals, focusing on specific geographical zones and/or medical or surgical specializations within our health system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of Advanced Practice Professionals, ensuring they meet their fundamental obligations and achieve expected results.
  • Partner with regional administration to orchestrate educational programs for Advanced Practice Professionals within their region and specialty.
  • Deliver patient services under the guidance of a supervising physician and/or assigned staff physician.
  • Conduct patient interviews and examinations to identify symptoms and create/update patient records.

Requirements:
  • Masters' or Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification,
  • 3 Years of Experience in OR,
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer,
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission regulations regarding Advanced Practice Professional practice in hospitals and clinics,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to analyze complex systems and data to solve problems,
  • Self-direction and initiative in managing workload.
