About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Structural Engineer to join our team in the Bellevue Design Center. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with national industry leaders and local experts to support clients with structural design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design and analysis of civil works structures, waterfront structures, bridges, and pump stations.
  • Develop and implement design solutions using engineering formulas and standards.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to research and document design options.
  • Review and respond to shop drawings and RFIs during construction.
  • Provide information to project engineers for incorporation into specifications.
Requirements
  • BS in civil or structural engineering (master's degree preferred).
  • 0-5 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  • EIT Certification required.
  • Familiarity with current structural design methods, codes, and standards.
  • Experience with structural concrete and steel design.
  • Familiarity with developing structural drawings.
  • Working knowledge of structural computer-based design tools (such as SAP2000, SAFE, LPILE, GROUP).
  • Working knowledge (or interest in learning) BIM and/or CAD software platforms (such as AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley OpenBuildings, MicroStation).
  • Working knowledge (or interest in learning) 3D FEA structural analysis computer design tools (such as ANSYS).
  • Microsoft Office software experience/understanding.
