We are a dynamic and compassionate animal hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care to our furry patients and their owners. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and friendly Reception and Administrative Assistant to join our team.
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front office operations, ensuring seamless communication between clients and our medical team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scheduling Appointments: Manage appointment schedules, ensuring timely and efficient booking and rescheduling processes.
- Telephone Management: Handle incoming calls, responding to client inquiries, and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Clients and Patients: Prepare new client files, update patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
- Medical Records: Assist with preparation and maintenance of medical records, including updating patient charts and filing documents.
- Patient Admission and Discharge: Coordinate patient admission and discharge processes, ensuring smooth transitions and excellent customer experience.
- Prescriptions and Sales: Assist with filling prescriptions, handling over-the-counter sales, and maintaining inventory levels.
- Maintenance and Administration: Perform general administrative tasks, including mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and maintenance of the reception area.
