Position Responsibilities
  • Prepare dishes using standardized recipes, ensuring timely and visually appealing presentation.
  • Organize food service areas and workstations with necessary condiments and garnishes.
  • Prepare and serve all required condiments and garnishes alongside the main dishes.
  • Assist in the preparation for the next day's menu.
  • Support the training of new kitchen staff.
  • Contribute to food ordering and menu cycle development.
  • Maintain cleanliness in stock rooms, coolers, and freezers, ensuring proper rotation and labeling of food supplies.
  • Uphold kitchen hygiene and food preparation standards in compliance with health department regulations.
  • Minimize food waste through effective storage and recycling practices.
  • Supervise and manage the team of Cooks, Prep Cooks, and Utility Workers as required.
Candidate Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a commercial kitchen setting or relevant certification from a culinary school.
  • Strong organizational skills and effective communication abilities with colleagues and residents.
  • A commitment to the quality and presentation of the culinary creations you prepare.
