Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at US Engine Valve. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing machine malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring that job functions maintain or improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems
• Perform preventative maintenance functions on equipment
• Complete work orders satisfactorily and in a timely manner
• Assist in the training of other maintenance personnel and production associates
• Ensure that job functions maintain or improve product quality

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school
  • Advanced education (associate degree) in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting is highly preferred
  • Experience in working with electrical systems from 24V DC to 480V AC
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints

Preferred Qualifications

  • On-the-job or classroom training, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, electronics, welding, and mechanical
  • Hilift/Forklift operation experience and ability to obtain license
  • Quality Management System and Environmental Systems Training
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing setting, standing, bending, stooping, lifting, pulling, pushing are required
