Job Summary

The Meat Department Supervisor is responsible for assisting team leadership in the supervision of meat team members and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the department. This role requires overseeing and maintaining compelling meat displays, as well as ensuring a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Floor Supervision: Supervises and delegates tasks to meat team members to ensure effective sales floor operations.
  • Team Development: Works with the team trainer to train team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
  • Customer Service: Resolves difficult customer situations and ensures all customer needs are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintains awareness of inventory levels and ensures accurate inventory management procedures are followed.
  • Store Visuals: Oversees and maintains compelling store visuals, including meat displays and merchandise presentation.
Requirements
  • 12+ months retail experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
