Member Service Representative Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Member Service Representative to join our team at Community West Credit Union. As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, answering their questions, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service to members, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Use GOLD, a CU*Answers software system, and other internal systems to access member account information and provide accurate and up-to-date information to members.
  • Assist members with basic account transactions, such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge in areas such as financial services, customer service, and software applications.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and provide a positive member experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with members and colleagues.
  • Basic math skills and ability to count and handle cash accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Comfort with technology, including software applications and online systems.
