Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Specialist

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor or (Sr.) Community Manager

Shapell Properties Inc is seeking experienced Facilities Maintenance Specialists to enhance our team. The ideal candidates should demonstrate proficiency in property upkeep and repairs, exhibit strong interpersonal skills, and maintain a high standard of professionalism in interactions with residents, team members, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident maintenance inquiries
  • Conduct property clean-up and perform general maintenance duties
  • Identify and resolve issues related to HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, painting, exterior structures, and appliances

Required Qualifications:

Experience in property maintenance is preferred. Competence in various maintenance disciplines such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical repairs, drywall work, painting, appliance servicing, and property preparation is essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented with outstanding communication abilities. Capability to work independently or collaboratively is necessary.

Availability for on-call emergency situations is required. HVAC/EPA Certification is advantageous.
