Job Title: Data Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Business Analyst to join our team at the University System Of New Hampshire. As a Data Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI. Your key responsibilities will include collecting, cleaning, and processing data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity, analyzing multiple datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that influence IT strategies and processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translating them into business and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Power BI.
* Collect, clean, and process data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity.
* Analyze multiple datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that influence IT strategies and processes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into business and technical requirements.
* Work with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support and develop comprehensive project documentation, including business cases, requirement specifications, and reports.
* Assist in the design and testing of new IT systems and enhancements to existing systems.
* Utilize Intune and JAMF for device management and compliance reporting.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for cyber and endpoint security, evaluating potential threats and vulnerabilities to inform budget-based decision-making and ensure optimal resource allocation.

Requirements:

* Associate's degree and four years of experience, Bachelor's degree and two years of experience, or combination of education and/or experience equal to six years.
* Experience in requirements gathering through document and data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and effective group facilitation.
* Text, diagrams, process maps, requirements registries utilizing software such as Microsoft Viso, Excel & Word.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for cyber and endpoint security, evaluating potential threats and vulnerabilities to inform budget-based decision-making and ensure optimal resource allocation.
* Customer centric attitude with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Extract: Gather data from various sources. Transform: Cleanse, format, and convert data into a suitable format for analysis. Load: Import transformed data into target systems.
* Broad-based Information Technology experience.
* Training and/or certification in process analysis and improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, or other process improvement methodologies.
* Experience with Intune, JAMF, CrowdStrike, and Tenable.
* Development and use of AI technologies within an IT environment.
