River City Care Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Activity Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive program of activities that cater to the social, emotional, physical, and therapeutic needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of activity programs and resident participation, identifying progress toward established care plan goals.
- Conduct resident activity histories and assessments as required by state and federal standards.
- Publish and distribute a monthly calendar of events and a periodic facility newsletter.
- Develop and maintain an active volunteer program.
Requirements:
- High school graduate with certification where required by state regulations.
- Must be certified Activity Director.
- Excellent creative and communication skills.
