Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at Worlds of Fun. As an Electrical Controls Specialist, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of ride control systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure rides are maintained according to manufacturer, company, and state guidelines to ensure the safety of ride operators and guests.
* Interact and communicate with various groups and individuals, including intermediate supervisors, park managers, and staff.
* Use a variety of supplies and tools, including electrician tools, meters, scopes, and other hand or power tools.
* Operate a variety of equipment and machinery, including vehicles, snorkel lifts, and computers.
* Prepare and process maintenance reports, shift reports, and other documents.
* Coordinate activities with other departments and crews as necessary.
* Oversee and coordinate outside controls contractors as the owner representative.

Requirements:

* Ability to use spreadsheet, database, and AutoCAD computer systems.
* Extensive knowledge of PLCs, motor drives, and display units.
* Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check.
* Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
* Driver's License.
