Lexington Medical Center is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled tasks, including construction and maintenance of hospital facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Makes routine and emergency repairs on mechanical/electrical equipment.
  • Makes general installation and repairs of water, steam, vacuum, compressed gases, sewerage, drainage, and automatic sprinkler lines and systems.
  • Responds to alarms from building automation system for issues with all LMC systems and troubleshoots as skill level and training allows.
  • Works rotating 'on-call' shift per Engineering 'On-Call' policy.
  • Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems, plumbing fixtures, and such apparatus as pumps and gauges.
  • Inspects connections and other parts of systems for leaks, repairs, damage and replaces as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 3 Years of Experience in Maintenance.
  • SC driver's license and acceptable driving history.
  • Must be able to read technical service manuals and blue prints with at least a basic comprehension.
