Kenton County School District is seeking a qualified Substitute Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid KY nurse's license (RN or LPN) and be able to complete a physical and TB risk assessment, as well as a Federal/State criminal background check and Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check. The substitute selection process will begin after July 5th, and candidates will be invited to an interview. Upon completion of the hiring process, substitutes may start substitute duties in the District. The hiring process involves completing the Classified Substitute online application, a screening committee review, and an interview. Candidates selected will be invited to a new hire orientation and will need to complete new hire paperwork, FBI/State background check, Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check, physical/TB assessment, Job Placement Assessment (JPA), and attend a new hire orientation.
