    • Lead the development of membership and chapters budgets and ensure alignment with NDIA's overall business plan
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Membership and Chapters team
    • Lead and develop high-performing teams to achieve business objectives
    • Collaborate with senior leaders to identify and address key business challenges
  • Communication and Outreach
    • Develop and implement effective communication and outreach strategies to engage members and chapters
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including members, chapters, and industry partners
    • Represent NDIA at industry events and conferences
  • Operational Excellence
    • Oversee the development and implementation of membership and chapters operational processes and procedures
    • Ensure compliance with NDIA's policies and procedures
    • Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure seamless integration of membership and chapters systems and processes
Requirements
  • Education
    • Masters degree in Business Administration, National Security, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 20 years of experience in national security leadership positions
    • Minimum 15 years of experience in staff supervision and leadership
  • Skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills
    • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office and other business software
Working Conditions

This position is primarily sedentary in the Arlington, Virginia office. The position requires overnight travel and may require some bending and lifting.
