Key Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality care as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in post-acute care environments
  • Collaborating with medical teams and residents to develop care plans
  • Administering treatments and medications effectively to residents
  • Reviewing care options and outcomes with healthcare professionals
  • Educating residents and their families on optimal care choices
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment as required
  • Ensuring compliance with nursing standards and facility regulations
  • Collecting samples, such as blood and urine, for laboratory analysis
  • Training and supervising nursing staff and support personnel
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of medical interventions and patient histories
  • Assisting staff with incident investigations
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current license to practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Ohio
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program
  • A minimum of 4 months' experience in post-acute care or inpatient hospital settings
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
