Compensation: $32.00 per hour plus potential bonuses (weekly payment)
Position Summary:
The HVAC Maintenance Specialist will collaborate closely with the HVAC Manager to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with customer service and dispatch teams to enhance overall operational success
- Follow the company's strategy for promptly addressing customer complaints
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment and ensure the service vehicle is well-stocked
- Engage actively in training sessions, morning briefings, and vendor-led technical training
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and servicing of HVAC systems
- Thoroughly clean equipment and components, disassembling and reassembling as necessary
- Lubricate moving parts to ensure optimal functionality
- Document and report any damaged, worn, or malfunctioning components
- Order and install replacement parts as needed
- Diagnose causes of unexpected equipment failures
- Efficiently repair malfunctioning equipment and prepare reports on work completed
- Organize, inventory, and maintain shop areas, tools, and supplies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with heating and cooling systems, including the ability to interpret diagrams and blueprints
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Highly organized with strong follow-through capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High integrity and strong interpersonal skills
- Competitive spirit with a collaborative mindset
- Ability to build rapport with customers to ensure maximum satisfaction
Education and Experience:
- EPA certification with knowledge of relevant installation and venting regulations
- Three to four years of experience in HVAC preferred
- Experience in residential HVAC systems preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs
