Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Engineer to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repair service work on commercial HVAC systems, as well as other building systems, to maintain properties in peak operational condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on commercial HVAC systems, including hands-on work to complete necessary tasks within Jones Lang LaSalle standards and guidelines.
  • Identify energy savings opportunities at facilities, including system and operational changes that can decrease energy consumption.
  • Perform routine building maintenance, plumbing, and other tasks as necessary.
  • Work independently to plan work assignments and perform duties with minimal direct supervision.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial HVAC service and repairs or 5 years military experience that includes work on HVAC systems.
  • Universal CFC certification required.
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Ability to diagnose/troubleshoot and self-perform basic plumbing & electrical repairs/maintenance.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to effectively manage diverse relationships with team members, contractors, building occupants, and clients.
Working Environment

The position is truck-based and includes travel to various locations within a specified geography. The employee will be required to work outdoors, in mechanical/equipment rooms, and in possible extreme weather conditions.
