Job Title: HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team at Precision Air. As an HVAC Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal efficiency of HVAC systems.
  2. Diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including fixing leaks, replacing motors, and repairing electrical connections.
  3. Test and calibrate HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality, temperature control, and humidity regulation.
  4. Handle refrigerants safely and in compliance with environmental regulations and safety protocols.
  5. Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure your own safety and the safety of others.
  6. Maintain and repair tools and equipment, and stock service vehicles with necessary parts and supplies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC vocational or technical training program is preferred.
  • EPA certification is required.
  • N.A.T.E. certification is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills, including knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license (for field service positions).
  • Compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
