About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our NICU, you will provide exceptional care to neonates and their families, fostering a holistic approach that addresses physical, emotional, and psychological needs.

Job Summary

This role involves assessing patient conditions, planning individualized care, and maintaining a therapeutic environment for patients. You must be licensed in Tennessee and possess skills in high-pressure situations, with specialized training in neonatal care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on all patients within the appropriate time of admission
  • Plan patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, nursing diagnosis, standards of care/practice, interventions consistent with identified problems and attainable outcomes
  • Maintain a healing and therapeutic environment for the patient and family
  • Demonstrate responsibility for assigned communications, unit duties, and special assignments

Requirements
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university
  • Licensed in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS within 90 days of hire
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six months of hire
