Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Labor/Delivery with a passion for providing high-quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team that strives to meet patient needs on a holistic level, incorporating emotional support and education with superior medical and nursing care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality obstetric, neonatal, and gynecologic nursing care to patients of all ages.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and ensure a therapeutic environment for patients and families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, adhere to hospital policies and procedures, and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Promote patient education and empowerment through clear communication and evidence-based practice.

Requirements:

  • Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
  • Earned a nursing diploma or degree from a college or university.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • At least one year perinatal experience preferred.
  • Certified Lactation Consultant or NRP certification preferred.
  • Able to function independently in stressful situations and return to work within 1 hour when on call.
