Position Summary: The Accounts Receivable & Cash Manager is tasked with overseeing the entire invoicing, collection, and cash application processes, ensuring timely management of all accounts receivable aging components. This role is crucial for maintaining and enhancing cash flow through diligent monitoring of customer accounts. Responsibilities include managing the team and processes, preparing and posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, administering banking functions, and providing accurate financial statistics. The manager will also independently verify, investigate, and resolve any transactional accounting issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the Accounts Receivable and Cash team, along with various general ledger activities.
- Review and approve invoices related to services and rentals.
- Manage collections by implementing systematic dunning practices, including customer outreach, issue resolution, and payment facilitation.
- Evaluate and establish credit and term limits for new customers, serving as the primary contact for credit checks.
- Collaborate with accounting to manage uncollectible accounts and accurately record credit loss allowances.
- Oversee daily cash receipt applications and month-end cash reconciliation processes, reporting cash status to management.
- Administer banking functions for all subsidiaries, ensuring proper segregation of duties and responding to bank inquiries.
- Implement effective financial internal controls and develop new systems related to accounts receivable billing and collections.
- Support financial planning through cash receipt forecasting.
- Coordinate the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Work closely with departments such as Finance, Customer Care, Sales, and Operations.

Qualifications:
- Proven ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Experience managing multiple projects while maintaining high organizational standards.
- Strong analytical skills to research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn accounting software.
- Willingness to adapt and learn new skills.
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in accounts receivable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise.
- Preferred: Bachelor's or Associate Degree; proficiency in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite; solid understanding of GAAP.

Compensation: The US base salary range for this position is $93,550 - $149,680 per year, determined by position, level, location, and market benchmarks. Individual pay is influenced by work location, job-related skills, experience, education, and training.
