Firmware Test Engineer

At Ace Technologies, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Firmware Test Engineer to support our Device Hardware and Firmware team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our firmware.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of customer issues related to firmware
  • Document failures and resolutions accurately, and interface with Product Management, Core Engineering, and Technical Management Office to drive quality improvements
  • Represent the Support team in CAPA meetings, adhere to the company's Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, and perform other duties as assigned
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of firmware development and testing principles
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash, as well as testing frameworks like Robot Framework
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming and Linux operating systems
  • Understanding of networking protocols, including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, and DHCP
