About the Role

The Vermont Veterans' Home is seeking a skilled Institutional Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our living spaces and common areas.

Responsibilities will include mopping, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, and cleaning of living spaces and common areas. You will also be responsible for laundering linens and personal clothing, sorting, and folding, delivery and pickup of laundry as well as operation of laundry machines.

This is a full-time position working 6am to 2:30pm, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility is important as there may be times when you might be required to work 11am to 7:30pm to accommodate the needs of the facility.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
