Position Summary: We are currently seeking an Audio/Visual Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will take charge of all facets related to audio/visual equipment, including system design, documentation, installation, integration, troubleshooting, and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Design & Documentation: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grasp customer requirements and formulate a comprehensive technical scope of work.
  • Develop detailed project budgets and technical equipment lists for requests for quotations (RFQs).
  • Create precise technical drawings, including equipment mounting layouts, signal flow diagrams, and system specifications.
  • Manage installation schedules to ensure seamless coordination with various departments and external vendors.
  • Conduct client training sessions and provide thorough documentation on system usage.

Installation and Integration:

  • Oversee the commissioning of equipment installations, ensuring proper termination, labeling, and documentation of cabling.
  • Ensure that installations conform to design specifications and perform control system programming as required.

Troubleshooting and Customer Support:

  • Deliver technical assistance for customer inquiries related to current and previously installed AV systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for a diverse range of end users.
  • Maintain a professional and ethical approach in all business dealings to enhance customer satisfaction and company reputation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related Technology field.
  • Four to seven years of relevant experience in AV systems design and installation.
  • Certifications such as Crestron Master Technology Architect (MTA), CTS-I, or CTS-D are preferred.
  • Proficient in AV system design, including projection, sound reinforcement, and control systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio for design creation and editing.
  • Familiarity with various DSP technologies for training rooms.

Physical Requirements: The role may require standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds, along with exposure to various environmental conditions.
