About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BTS MRO Architect to lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives for SAP's largest and most important customers. As a key member of our Business Transformation Services team, you will be responsible for creating strategic and tactical roadmaps for the deployment of digital solutions, developing compelling business cases, and providing comprehensive advice to our customers on long- and short-term opportunities for their key strategic imperatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers' IT and business executives to define clear requirements and achieve business outcomes.
  • Analyze key business and IT requirements in the BTS Acquire to Retire area, with a focus on Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul activities for Assets and customers.
  • Develop strategic roadmaps for the MRO area, encompassing the evolution of enterprise business solution portfolios from current to future state.
  • Identify improvement potentials within the MRO area, with a focus on Public Sector customers and A&D.
  • Influence transition states toward joint business outcomes, building on SAP solution value.
Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation, with the ability to lead customer engagements at an executive level.
  • Proven knowledge in MRO processes and deep implementation knowledge in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and cloud solutions for MRO, ideally in the Public Sector (Federal Civ and DoD) or A&D.
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to estimate the financial impact of various solution architecture alternatives.
  • 5+ years of SAP solution experience, 5+ years management consulting experience, and 10+ years of solution and/or architecture (business & IT) experience.
  • MBA preferred.
