About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Groomer to join our team at Pet Supplies Plus. As a Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry friends, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality grooming services, including brushing, bathing, and conditioning, to meet the needs of our clients and their pets.
  • Style and groom pets according to owner instructions and breed standards, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Develop strong relationships with pet owners by understanding their needs and recommending products and services to keep their pets healthy and happy.
  • Participate in community outreach to attract new customers and promote our store.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure a clean and inviting grooming environment.
  • Assist store team members during downtime and support the overall success of our store.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of grooming experience and formal training certification, or equivalent experience under an established groomer.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or a service industry, providing top-notch customer service.
  • Ability to lift or move merchandise, equipment, or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Pass a drug, background, and validated selection test.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
