We are seeking a Full-time/Part-time Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to work with a team of experienced and licensed Clinical Supervisors in providing telehealth and in-person therapy and counseling to couples, families, adults, and children in Ames, Iowa.
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA) to join our team. As a Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA), you will provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments, serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families, and develop individual treatment plans to fully address each client's various behavioral and mental health care needs.
Responsibilities:- Provide community-based therapy and counseling assessments
- Serve a diverse population of children, adults, couples, and families
- Develop individual treatment plans to fully address each client's various behavioral and mental health care needs
- Manage case plan oversight and re-evaluate as necessary to build the best possible outcomes for our clients
- Have the ability to receive free clinical licensure supervision from one of our Clinical Supervisors
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling or other approved related field (LMFT, LMHC)
- Must be licensed in the state of Iowa (temporary and provisionally licensed applicants are encouraged to apply)
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong computer skills, including electronic client care databases and MS Office software
- Flexible availability - evening and weekend hours may be required to meet the needs of clients
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, and auto insurance
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, Sex Offender registry, and a criminal history check
