ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team. As a MICU Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the MICU
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, lab results, and medication regimens
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal care
Requirements:
- BSN required
- ADNs candidate are required to commit to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience
- At least one year of acute care experience
- BLS required; ACLS preferred; must obtain within 6 months of hire
