Astrodyne TDI is seeking a meticulous and skilled Finished Goods Procurement Specialist to enhance our Operations – EMI Filters division. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our finished products align with customer requirements in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate production timelines to guarantee the prompt manufacturing of finished goods.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to maximize capacity and minimize lead times.
- Oversee inventory levels to align with customer demand while reducing surplus stock.
- Establish inventory management practices to improve turnover rates and decrease expenses.
- Engage with sales, customer support, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Partner with suppliers to secure timely delivery of necessary materials and components.
- Spot opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Examine data to identify trends and areas needing improvement.
- Create reports and metrics to support management decision-making.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, quality benchmarks, and corporate policies.
- Encourage teamwork across various departments to promote ongoing improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical), or Supply Chain Management.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
- Demonstrated proficiency in production planning, inventory oversight, or supply chain operations.
- Strong analytical capabilities and expertise in inventory management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Capacity to work effectively within cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
