Job Overview

Astrodynes TDI is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our Power Group in Hackettstown, NJ. As a key member of our supply chain management team, you will be responsible for supporting production, engineering, and new product introduction through effective material procurement and MRP management.

Your primary goal will be to negotiate pricing, select vendors, and purchase raw materials both nationally and internationally. You will work closely with our Supply Chain Supervisor to maintain MRP integrity and assist with raw material forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain MRP integrity and assist with raw material forecasting.
  • Analyze material shortages and create purchase orders.
  • Expedite materials as per customer and production needs.
  • Select suppliers based on pricing and delivery requirements.
  • Lead cost reduction initiatives through price negotiations.
  • Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and excellent communication skills.
  • ERP/MRP system knowledge.
