Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Atlantic Health System. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our acute care setting. Your expertise in ventilator management, airway management, and patient education will be invaluable in helping us deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide ventilator management and airway management services to patients in our acute care setting

Conduct ABG procurement and analysis to inform patient care decisions

Administer medications via nebulizers and inhalers as prescribed by physicians

Educate patients and families on respiratory care and disease management

Perform bedside spirometry and other respiratory assessments as needed

Requirements:

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy

BLS certification required

RRT certification required

1+ year of acute care experience preferred
