Industrial Maintenance Technician

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician at First Tek, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. Under the direction of the Department Supervisor, you will safely maintain, install, and fabricate production equipment to meet customer requirements. This position requires individuals who can work independently, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Work in alignment with the company's mission statement and core values.
- Practice safe work habits and identify potential safety issues.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
- Report and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Care for and maintain equipment to prevent damage and ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure seamless equipment operation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and blueprints.
- Record all work activities and maintain accurate documentation.
- High School Diploma or Industrial Maintenance Technical Degree.
- 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a 3rd shift environment.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to loud noise, chemicals, and moving machinery. You will be required to work at heights, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a team environment is essential.
