Overview:
The Senior Vice President of Marketing will oversee all marketing and branding strategies aligned with the established corporate objectives.
This role involves crafting and ensuring the effective implementation of strategic marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing profitability and expanding market presence; ultimately accountable for the comprehensive strategic direction of the brand within a commercial framework for the next several years.
Develops key business drivers through collaborative efforts with essential functional partners to boost sales and uphold a strong brand image and innovation.
Acts as the brand representative in cross-functional strategic meetings, including new product development, packaging, education, brand updates, and presentations.
Accountable for the formulation, monitoring, reconciliation, and assessment of the departmental budget.Responsible for successfully guiding and nurturing members of the Marketing team.
Job Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in steering strategic marketing, branding, and product management within consumer goods sectors.
Experience in the luxury market and fragrance or related categories is highly preferred.Exceptional financial insight is necessary, including proven experience in budgeting and P&L management.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
Proven track record in building collaborative relationships across various functional areas to successfully achieve initiatives across all brand categories.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas and marketing strategies to all levels of senior management.Judgment and Decision Making:
Decisions made in this role are pivotal to the strategic vision of the brand and its execution in the U.S. market, with minimal oversight required beyond senior management approval of marketing strategies.
Essential Physical Requirements:
Must be able to operate in a hybrid work environment.
Financial Scope:
The Senior Vice President of Marketing holds significant responsibility, in collaboration with senior brand management, for achieving the annual budget plan and fostering the growth and development of the brand across all U.S. distribution channels while adhering to the budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
