Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the Nurse Practitioner and physician.
  • Build strong relationships with educational and residential staff to ensure seamless healthcare coordination.
  • Prepare and implement educational programs tailored to the specific medical needs of our students.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide training and guidance to designated residential staff on medication administration.
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate effective care coordination.
  • Adhere to health services policies and procedures, ensuring high-quality care that meets regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through continuing education programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid registered nursing license with at least two years of experience working with children with developmental disabilities.
