- Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
- Define and implement efficient development methodologies, tools, and best practices to optimize firmware development processes.
- Manage firmware project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion and successful project outcomes.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges, proactively proposing solutions to ensure project success.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded firmware development.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors, managing relationships and coordinating firmware-related activities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of proven experience in embedded firmware development, including hands-on experience with programming languages like C/C++ for embedded Linux or other POSIX compliant operating system.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards successful project delivery.
- Deep understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time operating systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex firmware issues.
- Experience with firmware development tools, debugging techniques, and version control systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
