Job Description

This position involves removal and reinstallation of equipment serviced in our shop, precision alignment of rotating equipment, and performing mechanical diagnostics on operational equipment. The successful candidate will have knowledge of rigging practices and be able to work safely in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities
  • Removal and reinstallation of equipment serviced in our shop [electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, etc.]
  • Utilize basic rigging skills to safely move equipment on and off foundations and transportation means.
  • Precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment equipment.
  • Performing mechanical diagnostics on operational equipment utilizing vibration analysis along with physical inspection and visual examination.
  • Working on existing equipment in customer facilities, performing in-place repairs and field maintenance.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years working in mechanical environments.
  • Must be familiar with an industrial safety environment.
  • Knowledge of rigging practices is required.
  • Possess a positive team player attitude and overall motivation to succeed.
  • Must be able to meet physical requirements for position, including but not limited to ability to be on feet for an extended period, bend/stoop/kneel as needed, use of both hands, and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds up and down multiple levels of industrial environments.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
