Reliable Mechanical Equipment Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Field Service Technician to join our team at Synerfac.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer sites to service and repair mechanical equipment, with a focus on rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Remove and reinstall equipment serviced in our shop, utilizing basic rigging skills to ensure safe and efficient movement.
- Perform precision alignment of rotating equipment using dial indicators and laser alignment equipment.
- Conduct mechanical diagnostics on operational equipment, utilizing vibration analysis, physical inspection, and visual examination.
- Work on existing equipment in customer facilities, performing in-place repairs and field maintenance.
- Interface with end users and customers to assist in determining the cause of mechanical failures and to help produce proactive solutions.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience working in mechanical environments.
- Familiarity with an industrial safety environment is required.
- Knowledge of rigging practices is necessary.
- Ability to meet physical requirements for the position, including standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work on call 24/7/365 and be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
