Indiana University Health, in partnership with Indiana University School of Medicine, is seeking a dedicated Spine Neurosurgeon to join our esteemed team at the IU Health West Hospital located in Avon, Indiana.

Position Overview:

  • Deliver comprehensive neurosurgical care for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including specialists in Pain Management, Physiatry, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, and Neurology.
  • Benefit from a specialized surgical support team and access to a newly renovated, state-of-the-art Spine Operating Room equipped with the latest O-Arm technology.
  • Leverage a strong primary care referral network to enhance the growth of your practice, fostering an interdisciplinary approach with advanced practice providers, therapists, and nursing staff.

Alongside providing exceptional clinical care, this role emphasizes research and the education of residents and fellows at the IU Health Neuroscience Center/IU Health Methodist Hospital and affiliated institutions. The call schedule is shared equitably among adult neurosurgeons based on clinical workload. Opportunities for leadership roles in Hospital & System Quality and Clinical positions are available.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a neurosurgery residency in an ACGME-accredited program.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS).
  • Consideration for J and H-1B sponsorship.
