Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified candidates for the role of Nursing Clinicians, focusing on the education and practical training of nursing students. This part-time position is designed for individuals passionate about enhancing the clinical learning experience.

Job Responsibilities:

The Nursing Clinicians will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating clinical courses that prepare nursing students to take on the roles of care providers and managers.
  • Guiding students in addressing common health care needs within a structured environment.
  • Supporting the transition of students into acute care settings.
Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • A minimum of two years of practical nursing experience.
  • An active and unencumbered RN license in the State of Michigan.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association as a "BLS Provider".
Additional Requirements:

Upon employment, candidates will need to complete a comprehensive drug screening and provide documentation of:

  • Seasonal flu vaccination.
  • Hepatitis B immunization series or immunity evidence.
  • TDAP vaccination within the last decade.
  • Recent TB testing results.
  • MMR immunization series or immunity evidence.
  • Varicella immunity documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:

Ideal candidates may also have:

  • A Master's degree in nursing.
  • Experience in nursing education, preferably one year.
