Physical Therapist Assistant

Join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare, a 5-star rated facility in Westchester County, as a Physical Therapist Assistant. We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to assist in providing outstanding subacute rehab and long-term skilled nursing care to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing physical therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Conduct physical therapy programs for assigned residents, ensuring the highest degree of quality care.
- Enter accurate and timely billing information.
- Report resident progress in meetings and consult with other team members to coordinate physical therapy with other therapeutic activities.
- Provide residents with equipment as needed and chart notes in an informative and descriptive manner.
- Perform routine documentation and cooperate with all departments to promote optimal resident care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy Assistant.
- Licensed in NY State as a Physical Therapist Assistant; license in good standing.
- Previous skilled nursing facility experience highly preferred.
- Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and handicapped.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to treat residents and fellow staff with respect, dignity, and compassion.
- Covid-19 vaccinations encouraged but not mandated.
