Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Waterview Hills Rehabilitation & Healthcare. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities:- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing physical therapy programs under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Conduct physical therapy sessions with residents, focusing on improving their functional abilities and promoting independence.
- Enter accurate and timely billing information to ensure seamless reimbursement processes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive resident support.
- Provide residents with necessary equipment and supplies to facilitate their rehabilitation progress.
- Document resident progress and therapy outcomes in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and effective care plan.
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in New York State.
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.
- A sincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, and handicapped populations.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
