Breast Cancer Researcher Opportunity at Curative

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our breast oncology team at Curative. As an emerging leader in cancer research, we are committed to advancing biomedical knowledge through laboratory and clinical research.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • You will have a direct impact on educating the next level of medical professionals, mentoring fellows and residents, and guiding medical students.
  • As part of our integrated cancer program, you will work alongside clinical researchers, surgeons, and specialists.
  • You will receive a minimum of 50% protected time to focus on research and scholarly activities.
Current Research Initiatives:
  • We are conducting two trials: Tomosynthesis Mammographic Imaging Screening and Evaluation of De-Escalation of Breast Radiation (DEBRA).
  • The Tomosynthesis Mammographic Imaging Screening trial compares the diagnostic accuracy of screening for breast cancer using three-dimensional digital breast tomosynthesis (DBT) plus two-dimensional full-field digital mammography (FFDM).
  • The Evaluation of De-Escalation of Breast Radiation (DEBRA) trial evaluates whether breast conservation surgery and endocrine therapy results in a non-inferior rate of invasive or non-invasive ipsilateral breast tumor recurrence (IBTR) compared to breast conservation with breast radiation and endocrine therapy.

What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
