Job Summary

The Registered Nurse NICU III is a critical role in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, responsible for delivering high-quality care to our patients. This position requires specialized skills and knowledge, with a focus on providing age-appropriate care that meets the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care to patients in the NICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Rose Medical Center.
  • Take call and meet call shift requirements established by the department.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Current NRP certification through AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics).
  • Registered Nurse, current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • Associate Degree, graduate of an accredited school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.
